A 40's Christmas

Anyone who has seen the Jeff Short Big Band will need little encouragement to come along to this very special 40's Christmas dance. What better way could there be to get into the Christmas sprit early than with an evening of music from the golden age of the big band? To add to the atmosphere you are invited to dress in a 1940's style (military or civilian).

Whether you are a keen dancer or just like to sit and listen you are guaranteed a good time. And even if you have seen this band before this concert will be a little different, featuring several Christmas numbers.

There will be a licensed bar and a few Christmas refreshments (bring your own food if you want something more substantial). The venue is the Public Hall in Collingwood Road, Witham and the doors will open at 7.30pm with the band playing from 8 o'clock.
