A Swinging Christmas

All you lovers of big band and swing music will be delighted to hear that there is to be another dance at the Public Hall in December with the ever-popular Jeff Short Swing Band. If you haven't been before, the Public Hall is an ideal venue for this evocative and nostalgic evening and while the focus won't be entirely on the 40s this time we would love to see people turn up in suitable costumes. If you have been before we're sure you won't need much encouragement to book again!

Whether you are a keen dancer or just like to sit and listen, you are assured of a great night out with one of the finest Big Bands in the area. In fact, they're so good that we regularly have guests coming from as far afield as Norwich, St Albans and even Northampton.

There will be a licensed bar but you are welcome to bring your own food. There will also be a raffle run by the Witham Lions Club in aid of local charities. Doors open at 7.30pm with the band on stage from 8.00 to 11.30pm.
