Welcome to the Witham Dramatic Club Website.
We are a friendly amateur theatre company based in Witham, Essex, that enjoys providing entertainment to others. We stage three productions a year at the town's Public Hall, normally in March, June and November. But it's not just about getting your name up in lights. Although everybody gets a chance to capture their bit of the limelight there are many different aspects to putting on a production. Just some of these are:

Time of My Life

Our next production is Alan Ayckbourn's Time of My Life which will be on stage in March. The cast have started rehearsals and the ticket sales are already starting to come in. For more information got to Productions

Terra Nova

Our latest production, Terra Nova by Ted Tally was very well received by those who saw it, with one of our regulars describing it as "unbelievably good" - high praise indeed! For more pictures and background, go to Productions.

The Public Hall

A short while ago a charitable company took over the running of the Public Hall from the District Council and plans are in hand for some improvements, both to the building itself and the programme of activities that take place there. The intention is to build it up as an entertainment venue for the people of Witham and the surrounding area. There is already a comprehensive range of events planned, some are being promoted by the Public Hall Trust, while others are being presented by new or existing hirers. Pay By Card

The ability to pay by credit or debit card online has proved a hit with many of our customers. It is especially popular with members of our mailing list who are sent an electronic flyer for all our shows along with a link directly to our box office page.
